Non-dayjob work - restrictions
- To avoid conflicts of interest, I can only provide services to companies that are not engaged in
telecommunications, Internet Service Provider (ISP), cable/satellite/etc television,
or directly related sectors - without prior arrangement.
(Note, however, that in my overall pro bono work for the Alaska region, I regularly and equitably coordinate with companies in these sectors.)
- If my current employer offers directly overlapping security implementation consulting services, I will refer you to the appropriate team.
- I cannot usually consult during normal business hours without a few days' notice - and then only briefly.
- Email (any time) and after-hours contact (calls) are strongly preferred.
