A list of add-ons that I use, dumped using the MR Tech Toolkit extension.

Firefox

• Aardvark - Utility for cleaning up a page prior to printing, and for analyzing a page.
• Adblock Plus - Ads were yesterday!
• Autohide
• AVG Safe Search - Guard against clicking malicious links.
• Clear DNS Cache - Clear the dns cache for firefox after changing your /etc/hosts configuration
• CoLT - Makes it easy to copy link text and locations.
• Download Statusbar - View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar
• DownThemAll! - The mass downloader for Firefox.
• ErrorZilla Mod - Implements a useful error page when a website cannot be reached.
• FavLoc - Easily download to commonly used locations.
• Firebug - Web Development Evolved.
• Flashblock - Replaces Flash objects with a button you can click to view them.
• FoxClocks - Displays local times around the world in the statusbar/toolbar. Supports virtually all time zones.

• Html Validator - Adds HTML validation to the View Page Source of the browser. The validation is done by Tidy from W3c.

• Live HTTP headers - View HTTP headers of a page and while browsing.

• Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant - Adds ClickOnce support and the ability to report installed .NET Framework versions to the web server.
• More Tools Menu - Unclutter the "Tools" menu by moving new items to a "More Tools" menu.
• MR Tech Toolkit - MR Tech Toolkit power tools for all users. (en-US)
• NoScript - Extra protection for your Firefox: NoScript allows JavaScript, Java (and other plugins) only for trusted domains of your choice (e.g. your home-banking web site). This whitelist based pre-emptive blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even unknown!) with no loss of functionality. Experts will agree: Firefox is really safer with NoScript :-)
• Page Speed - Speed up your web pages with this performance diagnostics tool. Requires Firebug.
• PDF Download - Allows you to choose what to do with a PDF file: download it, view it with an external viewer or view it as HTML.
• Pronounce - Pronounce English words
• Save Images - Save images in open page.
• Server Spy - Indicates what brand of HTTP server runs on the visited site.
• ShowIP - Show the IP address of the current page in the status bar. It also allows querying custom services by IP (right mouse button) and Hostname (left mouse button), like whois, netcraft. Additionally you can copy the IP address to the clipboard. This extension was formerly known as ipv6ident. License GPLv2 only.

• Tab To Window - Open a tab in a new window.
• TableTools - Sort, filter or copy any table ('ctrl+alt+click' sorts, 'ctrl+shift+click' shows filter, 'ctrl-z-click' etc. allows copying in various formats).
• Tamper Data - View and modify HTTP/HTTPS headers etc. Track and time requests.
• Toodledo - Your to-do list from toodledo.com
• Update Notifier - Notifies you when updates are available for your extensions and themes.
• Update Scanner - Monitors webpages for updates
• URL Flipper - Quickly and easily increment and decrement numbers and strings in URLs.

Thunderbird

• Allow HTML Temp - Allow temporarily HTML in a selected message
• Attachment Sizes - Ability to see attachment sizes on messages and composes.
• Auto Copy - Copies selected text to the clipboard automatically. Like Linux or mIrc.
• Clean Subject - Cleans the subject from multiple occurrences of subject prefixes and postfixes such as "Re: Re-2:" or similar variants that other clients add as reply or forward pre-/postfix.
• ConfirmFolderMove - Introduces a preference that allows users to be prompted before moving folders.
• Correct Identity - Allows you to configure the identity that will be chosen upon composing mail.
• Duplicate Contact Manager - Facilitates handling of duplicate contacts in your address books.
• Enigmail - OpenPGP message encryption and authentication
• External Editor - Allows to edit a mail in your prefered text editor.
• Folderpane Tools - Allows for customization of the folder pane such as rearranging accounts and choosing a startup folder.

• Quicktext - Adds a toolbar with unlimited number of text to quickly insert. It's also possible to use varibles like [[TO=firstname]]. With settings for everything.
• QuoteCollapse - Collapse quotes.
• Remember Mismatched Domains - Adds a 'don't ask me again' option to the Domain Name Mismatch Security Error window.
• Remove Duplicate Messages - Removes duplicate messages by folder context menu.
• Right Click Watch Ignore - Adds "Watch Thread" and "Ignore Thread" to right click context menu in Thunderbird
• Seek - Seek, and you will find the email you want.
• Signature Switch - Switch the signature on/off or choose a new one from your predefined set.
• SmtpSelect - Toolbar button for selecting the default SMTP server.
• Talkback - Sends information about program crashes to Mozilla.
• TB Header Tools Extension - You can now modify the header detail of messages.
• Thunderbird Message Filter Import/Export - Thunderbird Message Filter Import/Export is a thunderbird/mozilla extension to import/export message filters.
• Toggle Word Wrap - Toggle word wrapping in Thunderbird (Composer window) or Firefox (<PRE> elements)
• Update Notifier - Notifies you when updates are available for your extensions and themes.
• XNote - Add Post-It to your mails
