pfSense is a professional-grade firewall and router implementation based on FreeBSD. It has many features that are found in (or, in some cases, missing from) advanced commercial firewall products.

I can help you with pfSense architecture, implementation, and support in the Anchorage area (or remotely), including:

Hardware specification and procurement
Basic firewall, NAT, VLAN, port forwarding, DMZ, and DNS configuration
Site-to-site and road-warrior VPN configuration
Allowing or blocking entire countries or sectors by network
Package (third-party add-on) administration and configuration
Captive portal services
